Mark Cole of FedEx Freight found himself in the winner’s circle for the second year in a row as 3-Axle champion, then added the Grand Champion title June 15 at the Montana Truck Driving Championships in Helena.

Gary Wrobel first earned a No. 1 finish in the 5-Axle competition at the Michigan Truck Driving Championships in 1999. Twenty years later, he won the 5-Axle again, and added the Grand Champion title at the competition June 7-8.

Ken Rageth of FedEx Freight won the Flatbed to become Grand Champion at the 2019 Wyoming Truck Driving Championships.

A former national Grand Champion and the 2018 Grand Champion won their categories at the Massachusetts Truck Driving Championships June 2 in North Andover, but Richard Sweeney of XPO Logistics took the 2019 Grand Champion title, winning in Tank Truck.

Chris Morrison of Hogan Transports won the Sleeper Berth competition to clinch the Grand Champion title at the Missouri Truck Driving Championships on May 31-June 1 in Branson.

The second time was the charm for Brook Figgins of FedEx Freight, who won Sleeper Berth for the second year in a row and was named Grand Champion at the 2019 Colorado Truck Driving Championships on June 1 in Henderson.

A former national Grand Champion, a returning state Grand Champion and a record Step Van class will keep things interesting at the Massachusetts Truck Driving Championships on June 2 in North Andover.

The Georgia Truck Driving Championships held in Buford May 11-12 was “a wonderful celebration of the industry and a ‘family reunion,' " according to Emily Crane of the Georgia Motor Trucking Association. Keith Crook of UPS Freight took the Grand Champion title as well as the 5-Axle crown.

More than 30 drivers are set to compete at the Delaware Truck Driving Championships on May 18 in Harrington, Del. 2018 Grand Champion Louis Lockard of FedEx Freight is back to defend his title as well as his 3-Axle victory.
