Hub Group’s Fourth-Quarter, Full-Year Earnings Rise

Third-party logistics provider Hub Group said late Monday it earned $13.5 million or 34 cents a share in the fourth quarter, up from $10.1 million or 25 cents a share for the same quarter a year earlier.

There were an estimated 3,336 for-hire trucking companies based in Canada with annual revenues of $1 million or more in the second quarter of 2006, almost unchanged from the same quarter in 2005, Statistics Canada said Thursday.
