New Jersey’s Senate and Assembly voted on Oct. 7 to provide $2 billion annually to the transportation fund for the next eight years, thanks to tax increases of  27 cents per gallon on diesel and 23 cents per gallon on gasoline.

Missouri Senate Gives Initial Nod to Fuel-Tax Increase

Montana Voters Support Raising Fuel Taxes

A majority of 800 Montana voters surveyed last month favored raising taxes on diesel and gasoline to help pay for the state’s roads and bridges. In the poll commissioned by the Montana Chamber of Commerce, 52% of the voters supported the increase with 41% opposed.
