NASHVILLE — The Transport Topics Recruiting Professional of the Year Award for 2024 was presented to Kimberley Daigle, vice president of enterprise capacity development for PS Logistics, during the 2025 Recruitment & Retention Conference.

Daigle has more than 20 years of trucking industry experience, including 14 with PS Logistics. She started with the company as director of human resources, and advanced to vice president of human resources and then to her current post.

“Throughout her career, Kimberley has championed strong driver connections, fostered a culture of growth, and leveraged innovative strategies to propel PS Logistics forward,” event co-host Conversion Interactive Agency said in a news release. “Her dedication has not only shaped her company’s success but also set a benchmark for excellence across the industry.”

American Trucking Associations and Transport Topics also served as event co-hosts.

Daigle and fellow award finalists Jason Douglass, vice president of operations and recruiting at James H. Clark and Son, and Christopher Schoate, vice president of driver recruiting and retention for Gulf Winds International, on Feb. 20 participated in an hourlong Q&A session during which each shared insights into the challenges of finding and retaining good drivers, especially in a moment where freight activity has experienced a downturn.

“These finalists exemplify the dedication that recruiting professionals bring to the trucking industry,” said Transport Topics Executive Editor Joe Howard. “They and their colleagues deserve recognition for working every day to put the right drivers in the right seats.”

PS Logistics ranks No. 28 on TT’s Top 100 list of the largest for-hire carriers in North America.
