The price for a barrel of Brent crude oil, the international standard, fell 3.8% to $95.56. That’s still above its $70 level from before the war.

Brent crude, the international standard, rose back to $100.49 per barrel and is well above its roughly $70 price from before the war.

Benchmark U.S. crude was 6.8% higher on April 9 at $100.79 a barrel. Brent crude, the international standard, rose 3.7% to $98.24 per barrel.

The price for a barrel of benchmark U.S. crude climbed 3.9% to $116.83. Brent crude, the international standard, added 0.7% to $110.55.

The price for a barrel of benchmark U.S. crude rose 0.3% to $111.88 after erasing an earlier modest dip. Brent crude added 0.2% to $109.26 per barrel.

The price for a barrel of Brent crude oil, the international standard, fell 0.3% to $107.10. Benchmark U.S. crude slipped 0.3%.

President Donald Trump on March 30 threatened widespread destruction of Iran’s energy resources if a deal to end the war with Tehran is not reached soon.

Unlike earlier this week when Trump announced that talks with Iran were progressing, investors appear to be skeptical of the president's latest claim.
