21 State Attorneys General Sue Over New Trump Water Rule

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Attorneys general in 20 states and the District of Columbia sued the Trump administration July 21, alleging that new federal rules undermine their ability to protect rivers, lakes and streams within their borders.

Truckers File First Suit Contesting California Gig Economy Law

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The California Trucking Association on Nov. 12 filed what appears to be the first lawsuit challenging a sweeping new labor law that seeks to give wage and benefit protections to workers in the so-called gig economy, including rideshare drivers at companies such as Uber and Lyft.
