Brent crude, the international standard, fell 0.5% to $94.71 per barrel. It was trading at around $72 a barrel before the start of the war in late February.

Brent crude gained 4.6% to $94.65 a barrel on Sept. 1, as recurring violence in the Iran war after more than a month with no significant fighting heightened uncertainty over the future of the conflict.

Oil prices surged more than 3% after the U.S. strike on Aug. 30 broke a lull in fighting in a war that has lasted more than six months. Brent crude, the international standard, jumped 2.8%, to $90.59 a barrel.

A barrel of Brent crude oil, the international standard, slipped 0.6%, to $82.07. Brent rose nearly 4% on Aug. 6 as progress toward reopening the Strait of Hormuz remained unclear.

The price of Brent crude, the international standard, rose 3.9% to $82.55 a barrel amid uncertainty about the direction of the U.S. war with Iran.

Brent crude fell 0.3% to $79.15 per barrel on Aug. 5. On Aug. 4, it sank 5.3% as hopes rose for progress toward a full reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. 

The price of a barrel of Brent crude, the international standard, dropped 6.2% to $86.01.

After shooting to $102 per barrel a day earlier, Brent crude, the international standard, was down 5.1% to $95.55.

Brent crude fell 3.4% to $74.21 a barrel. Trump said that gas prices are not matching the decline in oil prices, so he has told the Justice Department “to immediately start looking into this.”

Brent crude, the international standard, lost 1.3% to $72.87 a barrel, closer to its roughly $70 price from before the war.
