Nalepka Brings Safety-Focused Resume to Compliance Specialist

FleetDrive 360 appointed Michael Nalepka as CEO on Oct. 5, the cloud-based driver qualifications and compliance specialist said.

Atlanta-based FleetDrive 360 offers access from a computer or mobile device to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and Department of Transportation compliance data, among other specialties.

Nalepka was most recently the founder and CEO of VideoProtects, a trucking video safety specialist, as well as the founder and general manager of Video Intelligence, a fleet safety software provider in Trimble Inc.’s transportation unit.



FleetDrive 360’s new top executive held leadership roles at transportation technology companies for nearly 20 years prior to joining the firm and is the holder of 11 patents, including nine related to fleet driver safety, transportation management software, telematics and video-telematics.

Nalepka replaces company founder Kevin Thompson as CEO.

FleetDrive 360’s system manages driver qualification and hiring files, drug and alcohol testing, hours of service, document expiration notifications, and vehicle maintenance and accident records.

In August, FleetDrive 360 launched an enterprise version of its products tailored especially for larger fleets. The revamped version of the software consolidated all compliance management features, including streamlined drive onboarding, a single dashboard for random drug and alcohol testing, and customizable branding options.
