He has served on the board of directors of the North American Council for Freight Efficiency since 2014 and has been the board chair since 2017.

In this role, he is responsible for the strategic direction of the on-highway heavy duty truck business. With more than 28 years of experience in the truck and automotive industries at both Navistar and Ford Motor Company, Ciesielski has held various positions in design, development, manufacturing and sales.
