The U.S. average retail price of diesel dropped 0.1 cent to $3.042 a gallon, the Department of Energy reported July 1. Crude oil prices remained near $58 a barrel after touching $60 earlier in the day.

TravelCenters Receives $10.7 Million From Comdata in Lawsuit

TravelCenters of America reported that Delaware’s Chancery Court awarded attorney’s fees and costs that the company incurred in its litigation with Comdata Inc., the Brentwood, Tenn.-based payments firm and division of Fleetcor. TravelCenters reported that Comdata on April 13 reimbursed about $10.7 million in costs and interest.
