As the trucking industry moves toward the next generation of diesel engines, the introduction of new oils designed to further enhance fuel efficiency also is on the horizon.

A change to Mobil Delvac™ Extreme FE 10W-30 FA-4 diesel engine oil made the team’s car haulers more efficient, needing only one oil change during race season and saving nearly 900 gallons of diesel fuel. 

PC-12 will replace the current API CK-4 and FA-4 engine oils, but there are still hurdles ahead of the finish line.
