On March 3, members of the Senate Commerce Committee will have a chance to voice their concerns about Scott Darling’s qualifications to lead the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration when the panel votes on his nomination. Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.), the committee’s chairman, told Transport Topics several committee members had raised concerns about Darling’s “depth of experience” on key trucking issues.
