European truck drivers will be limited to a 48-hour work week if a proposal now being drafted by the European Union Commission in Brussels becomes law.

Volvo Truck Corp. will invest $128 million in German diesel engine manufacturer Deutz A.G., as part of a cooperative agreement finalized last week.
