Union Leasing Buys Walser Leasing to Expand Commercial Truck Business

Union Leasing Inc. announced the acquisition of Walser Leasing to expand the buyer’s service offerings in the commercial truck business.

Terms weren’t released by Union Leasing, a Schaumburg, Illinois, firm  and a unit of Sasser Family Holdings Inc. Walser Leasing, based in Minnesota, offers leasing and fleet management services, the announcement from Union Leasing said.

Union Leasing President Kent Boskovich said the acquisition “offers us the opportunity to expand our services footprint and industry expertise, which is integral to our short-term growth plans and leverages our personal-touch approach to providing a superior customer experience.”

Union Leasing’s parent company also offers railcar leasing and fleet-management services to the railroad industry.
