Uber Freight unveiled a new fuel card to help carriers with on-the-road purchases, the company announced April 27.
The Uber Freight Carrier Card was launched as part of a partnership with payment platform company AtoB. The card provides fuel discounts and same-day payments, and has no annual fees. It can also help with cash flow management.
“Carriers need innovative tools and solutions to build thriving businesses, maximizing their time and earnings potential on the road,” Uber Freight CEO Lior Ron said. “Since our beginning, Uber Freight has brought much-needed transformation to the industry. We’ve introduced driver-first carrier solutions that improve the economics of truck ownership for the thousands of drivers on our platform.
