Trade Gap Jumps 9.3% in November

The U.S. trade deficit widened in November by 9.3%, the Commerce Department said Friday.

The increase, which was the most in two years, to $63.1 billion from $57.8 billion, topped the $59.5 billion forecast by economists, Bloomberg reported.

Exports rose 0.4% to $142.3 billion, setting a ninth consecutive record, Commerce said.
