TNT, Con-way Freight Expand Partnership

Dutch-based package carrier TNT and Con-way Freight announced the expansion of their partnership to move freight between the United States and Europe, with new service at Los Angeles International Airport and Miami International Airport.

The joint announcement Wednesday said that the new locations will improve transit times for customers in day-definite, door-to-door international freight services.

The original agreement between the two companies provided service for freight shipments heavier than 150 pounds through New York’s John. F. Kennedy International Airport.

The two companies said that they launched their Europe-to-United States service in April 2009, and added the U.S.-to-Europe service a year later.
