TMW Acquires Software Firm

Trucking software firm TMW Systems said Thursday it acquired TMT Software, which makes fleet maintenance applications, for an undisclosed sum.

David Wangler, president of software maker TMW told Transport Topics the acquisition of TMT was “a great opportunity for us to expand our reach” within the trucking industry.

The acquisition of Durham, N.C.-based TMT, will push TMW’s annual revenue to $56 million, Wangler said.

Rick Rosenberg, TMT’s president, will become general manager of TMW’s fleet maintenance software.
