TMW Acquires Maddocks Systems

rucking technology company TMW Systems has acquired Maddocks Systems, a Canadian firm that provides software for the trucking industry, TMW said Wednesday.

While the terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, the combined company will have more than $40 million in annual revenue, TMW said in a statement.

Under the deal, TMW has also extended its lifetime support policy to include Maddocks TruckMate for Windows product.

David Wangler, president of TMW Systems, will continue to lead the company, which will now employ about 250 people.

As part of the acquisition, Bob Maddocks, president of Maddocks systems, has been named TMW’s senior vice president of business development.

Randall Burrell, Maddocks Systems’ chief operating officer, has been appointed General Manager of TMW Canada.
