Midtronics Releases Custom Battery Products for International
Midtronics, Inc. has released two custom battery products for International Truck and Engine Corporation, the company said last Tuesday.idtronics will deliver its EXP-1000 HD Battery and Electrical System Analyzer and PSC-550 CC Power Supply and Battery Charger to more than 600 of International’s truck and bus service locations.
Greatwide Introduces G-Doc Routing System
Greatwide Logistics Services introduced its Greatwide Distribution Optimization Center, or G-Doc routing system, the company said last Thursday.The system centrally dispatches drivers and routes trucks between multiple distribution centers, customer deliveries and vendor pick-ups, directing empty inbound trucks toward logical stops to maximize backhaul opportunities, Greatwide said.
The company said its Greatwide's Dedicated Transport unit operates G-Doc as a value-added service to its clients at no additional cost. Transport Topics
Arotech Corp. Receives $4.5 Million in New Orders for Driving Simulators
Arotech Corp.’s Simulation and Training division has received $4.5 million in orders for driver training simulators since the end of the second quarter, the company said Monday.The new orders include military and civilian truck simulators to be delivered to clients in the municipal, military and transportation sectors, said Kurt Flosky, executive vice president of Arotech subsidiary FAAC Inc.
Arotech’s simulators allows companies to offer driver training in such areas as situation awareness, risk analysis and decision making, emergency reaction and avoidance procedures, and conscientious equipment operation. Transport Topics
