Swift Logistics to Close Pennsylvania Warehouse

Swift Logistics will close its warehouse in Springettsbury Township, Pa., on Dec. 31, and 56 employees will be laid off, according to the company’s Workers Adjustment and Retraining notice that it filed with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry.

Officials from Swift Logistics couldn’t be reached for comment.

Swift Logistics, a brokerage and asset-based logistics provider, is an entity within Knight-Swift Transportation Holdings, ranked No. 5 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of for-hire carriers in North America.
