Qualcomm Renames Wireless Unit

Qualcomm Inc. said it had renamed its wireless business unit, which will now be called Qualcomm  Enterprise Services.

The former Qualcomm Wireless Business Solutions unit had been undergoing a business transformation over the past 18 months, the company said in a statement.

“These changes reflect customer feedback and Qualcomm’s commitment to provide  the highest value enterprise services in the industries we serve,” the company said.

Qualcomm makes computer applications for the trucking industry, including communications and trailer tracking systems.
