Port of L.A. Container Volume Rises 3.7% in April
Total container volume at the Port of Los Angeles rose 3.7% in April from a year ago, the 15th consecutive month of growth, the port said.
The port handled more than 617,000 containers for the month, including almost 480,000 loaded containers, a 4.2% increase.
Loaded outbound containers rose 5.8% to 167,000, while loaded inbound increased 3.4% to about 312,000 units.
