Orange EV Sends 2,000th Electric Yard Truck to Coke Canada

Orange EV marked delivery of its 2,000th electric terminal truck with a deployment to Coca-Cola Canada Bottling, the company announced June 23, expanding the beverage company’s use of electric yard trucks in British Columbia and Quebec.

The company said its electric terminal trucks have logged more than 12 million key-on hours and 33 million miles across more than 370 fleets. Orange EV said the trucks are operating in more than 41 U.S. states, four Canadian provinces and the Caribbean.

Earlier this month, Orange EV announced record order volume for its electric terminal trucks, including a single order for 600 trucks.

Orange EV said June 23 that its trucks have averaged about 97% uptime, a figure the company cited as important for fleets using yard trucks in high-volume logistics operations.

“Delivering our 2,000th truck is more than a production milestone; it reflects a broader industry tipping point,” said Kurt Neutgens, co-founder, president and chief technology officer of Orange EV.

Orange EV said its Triever platform is used in warehouse and distribution operations, while its Husk-e model is designed for ports and other heavy-duty applications.

The company said each truck eliminates an estimated 80 to 90 tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually compared with a diesel yard truck.

Coke Canada Bottling also named Orange EV one of its 2025 Supplier Partner Award winners at the company’s annual Supplier Partner Forum.
