An association of truck driving schools wants Ontario to improve training standards in the province.

To make this happen, Wayne Campbell, president of the Truck Training Schools Association of Ontario, a fledgling organization under the wing of the Ontario Trucking Association, is soliciting ideas from insurance companies, trucking companies and drivers on how to improve schools and their curricula.
Campbell, who owns the Adenac Truck Driving School in Scarborough, Ontario, said that a new curriculum is being designed, but the Minister of Colleges and Universities in Ontario wants to see industry comments before imposing requirements on truck driver schools.
