Oil Rises From Seven-Month Low

Oil prices rose from a seven-month low in early trading Monday but held under $92 a barrel, after declining for six straight trading days, Bloomberg reported.

Crude futures rose 15 cents to $91.63 a barrel in early New York Mercantile Exchange trading, after finishing last week at $91.48, the lowest closing price since Oct. 26.

Oil has held in the $90s for the past two weeks, after sliding steadily from the Feb. 24 closing price of $109.77 per barrel, a 10-month high. Crude has dropped more than $13 in the past three weeks.

Diesel and gasoline pump prices have fallen steadily for more than a month, with diesel last week taking its biggest decline this year to just over $4 a gallon.



The Department of Energy will release its weekly survey of filling stations Monday afternoon in Washington.
