Oil Falls to Near $91 a Barrel

Oil fell to near $91 a barrel in early trading Monday, the lowest intraday price since February and below the closing price at the end of last year, Bloomberg reported.

Crude futures fell almost $2 to $91.14 in early New York Mercantile Exchange trading, in part due to concerns over Europe’s debt, Bloomberg said.

Oil closed last week under $100 a barrel every day last week.

Despite a diesel uptick last week, diesel and gasoline pump prices has been generally declining since early May, along with declining oil prices.



The Department of Energy will release its weekly survey of filling stations Monday afternoon in Washington.
