Nissan Seeking Buyer for Truck Unit

DaimlerChrysler refused to comment on reports that it plans to purchase financially troubled Nissan Diesel Motor Co., Bloomberg News reported last week.

The report, said to have been filed by Germany’s VWD news agency, said DaimlerChrysler had decided on the acquisition as part of a plan to expand its presence in Asia.
