Mack Trucks and Volvo Trucks North America separately launched Certified Used Truck programs featuring a factory-backed warranty managed through the truck makers’ respective service points. These programs eliminate the need to work through third parties.

Both Mack and VTNA are units of Volvo Group. based in Greensboro, N.C.

Offering up to 24 months and 250,000 miles of parts and labor coverage on designated components, the Certified Warranty from each company is comparable to the Engine 2 Protection Plan available on new models. All warranty repairs are performed by an authorized Mack or VTNA dealer at more than 400 locations.

The Certified Used trucks are four model years or newer with less than 450,000 miles. Each truck also undergoes a thorough 150-point inspection and reconditioning process and is U.S. Department of Transportation-safety compliant. — Transport Topics
