feel the maintenance of the chassis has not been up to standards set by the FMCSA. Each year the chassis are to be inspected by a certified/qualified technician by the criteria established.

support the current legislation proposed by Sen. Campbell. Safety has to be the issue. Perhaps a review of the maintenance records of the companies as well as the FMCSA inspections would help to illustrate the level of compliance.

There need to be accountability and strict adherence to the current rules and regulations. This issue is costing the trucking industry money and reputation, as well as endangering the safety of the motoring public.
