International Presses EPA On Lower Sulfur Diesel

International Truck and Engine Corp. took action April 7 that would allow the company to sue the Environmental Protection Agency if it does not adopt a new sulfur standard for diesel fuel.

Without a new fuel standard in place, International, formerly Navistar International, would be confronted with emission standards that new diesel engines alone could not meet, said Sussman.
