Gasoline fell 4.1 cents in the past two weeks to $3.60 a gallon, according to the latest Lundberg Survey of filling stations released Sunday.

Despite the downturn, regional refinery issues pushed prices higher in some areas, partially offset by lower oil prices, analyst Trilby Lundberg said in her survey, released twice a month.

Chicago had the highest price among cities surveyed, at $4.23, though the price dropped a quarter in the past two weeks.

Tucson, Ariz., had the lowest price, with an average of $3.24 a gallon. Gasoline averaged $3.73 on Long Island, N.Y., and $4.07 in Los Angeles.

Crude oil held at about $93.70 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange in early trading Monday, after nine-month-high $98.44 last Tuesday, Bloomberg News reported.

The Department of Energy will release its weekly survey of diesel and gasoline pump prices Monday afternoon in Washington.
