verage retail gasoline prices were unchanged over the past three weeks as supplies increased but demand did not, according to the latest Lundberg survey of gasoline prices released Sunday.

The national average price for self-serve, regular unleaded gas was $2.933 a gallon Friday, up just two-hundredths of a cent since May 19, according to the twice-monthly survey.

The stability came from a narrower range of crude oil price changes and higher supply, while demand remained flat, survey editor Trilby Lundberg said in a statement, Reuters reported.

Honolulu had the highest average price for self-serve regular unleaded gas at $3.27 a gallon, while Wichita, Kan., had the lowest, at $2.66.
