Gasoline Prices Climb 6 Cents, Lundberg Says

Gasoline prices rose about 6 cents in the last three weeks, according to the latest Lundberg Survey of filling stations released Sunday.

Regular gasoline averaged $3.06 a gallon, mid-grade was $3.17 and premium was $3.29, analyst Trilby Lundberg said in her report issued twice a month.

The lowest price was in Tucson, Ariz., at $2.80, while the highest was in Chicago, at $3.46.
