Gasoline rose 11 cents in the past two weeks to a national average $3.93 per gallon, but the price may be leveling off with oil prices stable, according to the latest Lundberg Survey of filling stations released Sunday.

Midgrade and premium each also rose 11 cents, to $4.07 and $4.18 per gallon, respectively, analyst Trilby Lundberg said in her survey, released twice a month.

Lundberg said prices fell about a penny per gallon in California, where fuel costs are typically the highest, as crude oil prices have held steady this month.

Tulsa, Okla., had the lowest price among cities surveyed, at $3.58 per gallon, while Chicago was the highest, at $4.56.

The Department of Energy will release its weekly survey of diesel and gasoline pump prices Monday afternoon in Washington.
