CNN reported Monday afternoon that parts of I-75 in Hillsborough County also were closed due to smoke and fires.



The poor conditions led to an accident Sunday morning that killed two truckers, the Miami Herald reported.

One state police official told the AP that motorists would be advised not to use I-95 for the next few days unless they had to.

He said police were advising motorists to avoid the north-south route from Indian River County to Jacksonville.
