ackage carrier FedEx and the Air Line Pilots Association have reached a tentative agreement for pilot contracts, Bloomberg reported Sunday.

FedEx and the union that represents its cargo pilots had been in talks over the new four-year contracts for about 30 months, Bloomberg said.

FedEx’s pilots operate as part of FedEx Express, the largest of the parcel giant’s four divisions.

Neither FedEx nor the union disclosed the terms of the agreement and the Air Line Pilots Association did not say when FedEx’s pilots would vote on the new contracts, Bloomberg reported.

In June, FedEx rival UPS reached new labor agreements with the union that represents its pilots, the Independent Pilots Association. UPS pilots are currently voting on the new deal, Bloomberg said. (Click here for previous coverage.)

UPS and FedEx are ranked No. 1 and 2, respectively, on the Transport Topics 100 list of the largest for-hire carriers in the United States and Canada.
