Eagle Vision Security is targeting vehicle damage and delayed inspections with a new artificial intelligence-based reporting platform for truck yards, logistics terminals and fleet facilities, the company announced May 19.

Eagle Vision launched Intelligent Damage Reporting, which it abbreviates as iDR, to help fleet operators identify visible damage, collect inspection records and review incidents in real time. Eagle Vision said the system uses AI-powered imaging, video analytics and centralized reporting tools to support vehicle inspections at transportation and logistics sites.

The company said iDR was developed for fleet environments where high vehicle volume, multiple entry and exit points and round-the-clock activity can make damage detection difficult. Vehicle or trailer damage that is not identified promptly can contribute to repair costs, equipment downtime, insurance issues and operational delays, the company said.

“Fleet operations move fast, and even minor vehicle damage can quickly become a costly operational issue if it goes unnoticed. Traditional inspection processes are often manual, inconsistent and reactive,” said Parm Deol, president of Eagle Vision Security.

The system is intended to give operators access to high-resolution images, AI analysis and reporting data when damage or other inspection issues are identified. Eagle Vision said those records can be used in incident reviews and maintenance coordination.

Rather than relying only on written reports or later reviews, iDR applies automated imaging and analysis to identify visible damage and create inspection documentation, the company said, adding the platform is designed to reduce manual inspection errors and improve reporting accuracy.

Eagle Vision is a privately held company based in Mississauga, Ontario, with regional operations centers in California, Arizona, Texas and Oregon. The company serves transportation and logistics customers across North America.

The product expands Eagle Vision’s transportation security and monitoring offerings into damage detection and inspection reporting for truck yards, warehouse facilities, logistics terminals and fleet operations.
