A. Duie Pyle Launches TSA-Cleared Airfreight Service

Diversified motor carrier A. Duie Pyle Inc. announced a Transportation Security Administration-compliant export service designed to move international airfreight directly from point of origin to the export location.

The international cargo will be handled by staff that possesses the necessary security clearances and customer service experience for transporting shipments to export locations, according to the West Chester, Pa.-based company — which noted the Northeast is home to some of the largest ocean ports and airfreight terminals in the nation.

A. Duie Pyle Inc. ranks No. 75 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of the largest for-hire carriers in North America.

Currently, Pyle employs TSA-compliant freight handlers and drivers in all of its service centers.

“With our dense network of service centers, next-day transit capabilities and integrated logistics options, we are eliminating commonly encountered obstacles many shippers face and are greatly expediting the shipping process,” John Luciani, chief operating officer for less-than-truckload services, said in a release. — Transport Topics
