Arpin Promotes Truck Solar Panels With New Partnership

Arpin Renewable Energy said it has partnered with transportation alternative energy company eNow to provide easier access to solar panels for Arpin Van Lines agents and owner-operators.

The van line, a subsidiary of the Arpin Group, West Warwick, R.I., has been testing the solar panels for the past two years and has seen significant cost savings according to Arpin Renewable Energy, which is also a division of the Arpin Group.

According to the energy company the solar panels are retrofitted onto a trucks roof and are able to power most of the truck’s accessories, cutting down idling time.

“We want our agents across the country to be among the first adopters of this technology and become a model for other transportation industries to follow,” Arpin Renewable Energy President Peter Arpin said in a release.
