National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, which runs Sept. 11-17, 2022, recognizes the contributions truck drivers make to keep the country moving forward.

The week offers Americans a chance to thank the 3.6 million male and female professional truck drivers for their hard work and commitment in undertaking one of our economy’s most demanding and important jobs. They not only deliver goods safely, securely, and on time, but they also keep our highways safe.

On this page Transport Topics will be capturing select social media posts that show the various ways people and companies displayed appreciation to drivers in 2022.

TransFIX My Rig winner

For the second year in a row, Transfix teamed up with celebrity handyman Jason Cameron to give one driver their dream rig as part of their TransFIX My Rig contest. This year's winner was veteran driver Jess Graham, an owner-operator with ABM United Express of Lilburn, Ga. Graham was nominated by her peers for her commitment to those in the industry advocating for all women, minorities, and LGBTQ truck drivers. Cameron listened to Graham's story and made her dream rig a reality with a five-day renovation.
