Gasoline rose 6.7 cents in the past three weeks to $3.325 a gallon, according to the latest Lundberg survey of filling stations released Sunday.

U.S. retail diesel and gasoline prices rose for the third straight week, taking back more of the substantial cost drops that dominated the second quarter of the year, the Department of Energy reported July 23.

The average price of a gallon of diesel fuel in the United States rose 3.5 cents a gallon last week to $3.683, the first increase in three months, the U.S. Department of Energy reported.
