Yokohama Tire Corp.’s websites for commercial and consumer customers were redesigned to enhance customer experience, the company announced March 17.

“The emphasis on the redesign was to make the sites completely customer-focused,” Alan Holtschneider, Yokohama director of marketing, said in a statement. “Our goal was to rebuild them for better engagement and interactivity, dialogue, information empowerment and a positive tire education experience.”

The website for commercial tires was revamped with new tools such as a fuel-savings calculator and tire inflation-pressure calculator. It also now includes an inspection guide, which helps fleet customers identify the most common tire issues and fixes to keep their trucks on the road.

For consumer customers, the website includes an updated layout and search function with filters. It also has a revamped dealer locator, educational resources about tires, and new information pages such as product features. — Transport Topics
