Volvo Heavy-Duty Deliveries Rise Slowly

The Volvo Group said its wholly owned operations delivered 20,193 trucks of all sizes across the globe in October, up 2.8% compared with September.

Heavy-duty deliveries worldwide climbed to 17,248 trucks, up 1.5% from 16,989 in September, the Gothenberg, Sweden-based company said.

At subsidiary Volvo Trucks, 3,738 heavy-duty deliveries went to North America, up 4.2% from 3,587 a month earlier.

At Mack Trucks, its other North American unit, heavy-duty deliveries were 2,486, an increase of 44 trucks, or 1.8%, compared with September’s 2,442.
