Trimac’s 1Q Earnings Decline

Canada-based transportation firm Trimac Income Fund said its first-quarter net earnings fell to C$600,000, or about 2 cents per unit, from C$1.5 million, or 5 cents, a year ago.

Revenue dipped to C$76.8 million, from C$79.1 million, Trimac said Tuesday.

The company does not include its U.S. operations in its publicly stated earnings, which only encompass Trimac Income Fund and its Canadian operations.

Trimac Group is ranked No. 48 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
