TMC Honors Several With ‘Recognized Associates’ Award

American Trucking Associations’ Technology & Maintenance Council honored three industry suppliers with its Recognized Associates award for the improvement of equipment.

The winners were, Justin Anderson, president, HDI Sales; Brian “Mack” Mackenzie, Silver Eagle Manufacturing; and Ted Raquet, vice president for key accounts, Maxon Lift Corp.

The award is presented for outstanding contributions to the improvement of equipment, maintenance and maintenance management as well as support of TMC council activities.

Anderson has been a TMC member since 2005 and serves on the meeting mechanics and sergeant-at-arms committees. Mackenzie a member since 2003 is active the council’s professional technician development committee and has been a judge for TMC’s national technician skills competition. Raquet a member since 1992 has chaired numerous task forces and been a technical session panelist for lift gate and lift gate applications.



TMC also awarded Lilo Hurtado, applications engineer for ExxonMobil, with its Study Group Secretary award for his oversight of task force activities with the S.3 engines study group. Hurtado was study group secretary from 2009 to 2013.
