Don Aiken joins the company as executive vice president of operations. Aiken has worked in intermodal operations at J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Schneider National and NFI Industries Inc.

Tiger Cool CEO Steve Van Kirk said the addition of Baird and Aiken will help the company to expand at a time when the market is short of capacity.

“Leslie will provide the commercial leadership to help us grow our business, and Don will help us to continue to improve our dray operations,” Van Kirk said in a statement Jan. 25.

Tiger Cool was formed in 2013 and ranks No. 15 on the Transport Topics list of largest carriers in the intermodal/drayage sector.
