TFI International operating company TForce Logistics, launched a regional e-commerce network in Texas, the company announced July 20.
TForce provides final-mile, same-day and next-day delivery solutions. The launch of its newest regional e-commerce network will provide expanded and expedited next-day delivery for the largest metro areas in Texas. Dallas will be the main site for bringing shipments into the state.
“Our new regional e-commerce network mirrors our proven strategy to provide regional deliveries with national coverage,” Dean Mills, TForce vice president of sales for North America, said in a statement.
“This opens up direct-to-consumer next-day deliveries for shippers into the four largest Texas metro areas from one injection point in Dallas,” he added.
TForce said the new operation allows it to expedite transit of inbound shipments into the state, thus incorporating dedicated overnight truckload operations from Dallas to move parcel loads into the other three major metros for next-day delivery.
TFI International, based in Montreal, ranks No. 5 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of the largest for-hire carriers in North America. — Transport Topics
