The gains were mostly from the company’s supply chain services unit, which saw its revenue jump 13% in the quarter.Overall revenue for the quarter rose 3% to $1.6 billion, Ryder said Friday.For the full year, Ryder earned $249 million or $4.04 per share, up from $226.9 million or $3.52 in 2005. Revenue rose 10% to $6.3 billion.The company forecast its full-year 2007 earnings to be in the range of $4.30 to $4.40 per share, up 8% to 10% over last year. Its first-quarter guidance is 80 to 84 cents per share. Revenue for the full year will grow 5% to 7%, the company said.Ryder is ranked No. 5 on the Transport Topics 100 list of the largest U.S. and Canadian trucking companies.
