RMT Trucking's Sanders Named Chair of Colorado Motor Carriers Association

Walt Sanders, president of RMT Trucking Inc., was named the Colorado Motor Carriers Association’s chairperson of the board for the upcoming year.

“I hope to help the organization continue to build on the reputation that the trucking industry has earned over the past year and enhance our relationship with the Colorado Department of Transportation, the Colorado State Patrol, as well as be a representative for the trucking industry on key issues at the state Legislature and other state departments,” Sanders said.

Sanders, who grew up on a dairy farm in Ohio, has operated RMT Trucking since 2002. RMT specializes in liquid and dry bulk freight.

“Walt is an outstanding businessman and community leader,” said CMCA President Greg Fulton. “We are extremely fortunate to have someone with his skills and talent in leading our organization over the next year.”

The CMCA represents more than 600 member and affiliate companies across the state, which employ more than 100,000 people.
